Paul Jacobs' puts his mysterious side forward on the new single After Dark, which tells the story of a nighttime quest that turns into a personal quest. The mid-tempo song is the perfect complement to a walk or a drive, and concludes with the psychedelic touch you would expect from the Pottery band member. Paul Jacobs wrote, performed and mixed the new EP himself, which will be released in July to complement his spring/summer North American tour.
lyrics
The cat’s gone missing
Was last seen in the garden
We’ll go looking after breakfast
Start Looking in the garden
Some cat’s they got nine lives
While others they got ten
And some folks spend their whole lives
Just looking in the garden
Lets go looking in the garden
After dark
Well once I had a dog
And then I got another
Was getting kind of lonely
Sure could use a brother
Started digging in the garden
Looking for a brother
After dark

I have been following this guy's albums for several years. He's a bit of a chameleon, but well-worth the effort! For fans of 70's folk-rock, but also psychedelic rock. Gratefulshrink
Love the metal tracks on this album, but also lots of other sonic explorations. Static electricity, East West Link also fantastic. Thanks to KGLW for this! Michael B
